These terms apply to your use of Payday Buckets. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

What Payday Buckets does

Payday Buckets is a budgeting and planning app that helps you organise buckets, scheduled transactions, savings goals, reminders, and payday plans. It is designed to help you decide what to set aside when you are paid.

Payday Buckets is a planning tool only. It does not connect to your bank, move money for you, verify your real account balances, or provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking your own balances, due dates, transfer amounts, reminders, exports, backups, and financial decisions before acting on any plan shown in the app.

The app's calculations depend on the information you enter. If dates, amounts, balances, buckets, schedules, or settings are incorrect or out of date, the resulting plan may also be incorrect.

Subscriptions and purchases

If Payday Buckets offers paid features, purchases and subscriptions are handled through the App Store. Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment details under Apple's App Store terms.

Paid features may change over time. If a feature requires an active entitlement, the app may check your App Store purchase status to decide whether that feature should be available.

Data, sync, backups, and exports

Payday Buckets stores app data locally on your device by default. iCloud sync uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services and is controlled by your iCloud settings.

You are responsible for keeping backups and exports safe. Backup and export files may contain personal budgeting information in readable form. Only share those files with people or services you trust.

Support and feature requests

If you send a support request, feature request, bug report, screenshot, backup, export, or other message, you are responsible for making sure you are comfortable sharing the information it contains.

Feature requests and public roadmap items may be reviewed, edited for clarity, combined with similar requests, declined, or removed.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, support forms, feature request forms, or hosted pages. This includes attempting to disrupt the service, submit abusive or unlawful content, impersonate someone else, or access information that is not intended for you.

Availability and changes

The app and hosted pages may change, pause, or become unavailable from time to time. Features may be added, changed, renamed, limited, or removed as the app evolves.

These terms may also be updated from time to time. Continued use of Payday Buckets after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty

Payday Buckets is provided as is and as available. While the app is designed to be useful and accurate, no guarantee is made that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every financial situation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, responsibility for losses arising from use of Payday Buckets is limited. This includes losses related to incorrect entries, missed reminders, outdated data, sync issues, backup handling, or decisions made from a payday plan.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
